~We aspire to excellence while leading our student-athletes’ academic, athletic, and personal development.
Up to 30 Elite Athletes attend the academy, Led by Former Canadian Men’s Basketball Team Captain Vidal Massiah, and train under the supervision of professional skill trainers/coaches and performance specialist in alignment with F.I.B.A.’s L.D.T.D. model. Athletes are evaluated based on skill level, character, and long-term potential with a holistic approach to player development and a proven pathway to maximize their potential.
Students receive academic support, including attending a local public school, receiving a scholarship to a local private school, or using our NCAA-approved virtual learning program offered thru our online school, delivered through our partnership with: https://www.
About Our Program:
- A popular choice amongst elite athletes, we offer time management flexibility enabling students to improve their quality of life and reach both their academic and athletic career goals.
- Our boutique” style learning model offers a hybrid academic/athletic relationship between school and sports that allows student-athletes to focus on their daily studies and athletic development without sacrifice on either end.
- Academic support and guidance counselor on basketball staff provide onsite support.
- All courses follow the Ontario Ministry of Education requirements and are nationally and internationally recognized and approved by the N.C.A.A. Eligibility Center.
- All credits count towards a grade 12 high school diploma and University eligibility.
- Professional Coaching with over 30 combined years of playing and coaching experience.
- Strength & Conditioning 2-3 times per week with a certified S/C Coach
- Exposure to college/university coaches across North America
- Individual Player Development Plans
- A competitive schedule that includes the Premier Prep League, The Platinum Circuit, and participation in several sanctioned NCAA USA scholastic events.
- Courses take 110 hours to complete, and exams can be scheduled at your convenience. Note that all exams must be written on your campus or with an authorized proctor.
- Official transcript and diploma are issued by Ontario Virtual School in Toronto, ON, located at 4789 Yonge Street, Unit 1206 Toronto, Ontario, M2N 0G3.
